I'm giving this recording four stars rather than five due to two minor quibbles: 1. The sound quality on some of the tracks are uneven and a bit "hiss-y." This is more noticeable using headphones, and I expect it is because some of the material is from material recorded live years ago.
2. The tracks listed on the inside of the case are not the same titles as listed on my player listing. Why have a folded insert in the front and leave the inside blank? It could have been used descriptions of the various tracks or even an order form for other books and recordings.

This CD case lists the following as the track titles, and these seem to fit the tracks as they played:
1. Introduction to HU and Eckankar
2. A Love Song to God
3. The Universal Nature of HU
4. Spiritual Exercise: How to Do the HU
5. How to Contact the Light and Sound of God
6. A Pure Prayer to God
7. Spiritual Exercise: The Sound behind All Sounds
8. Harmony with All Life
9. Spiritual Exercise: For Dreams and Soul Travel
10 Review of the Basic HU Exercise
11. Spiritual Exercise: The Doors of HU
12. HU Song - a 20 minute HU song.

I don't know why there is a difference, but it was somewhat confusing when I wanted to play a specific track.

As I said, minor quibbles.

As for the content, anyone looking to replace the tape from the 80s that was ONLY a HU sing should take note that the first eleven tracks are narration with excerpts from some of Harold Kemp's talks. Only the last track, which is 20 minutes, is a HU sing. This may not be an issue for most folks.

The information on the CD is presented in a way that shows how HU can be used by anyone seeking a way to open himself to Spirit, regardless of their religious affiliation. I am not a member of Eckankar; still, I find the exercise beneficial and re-energizing.

Mr. Klemp has a low-key, conversational manner of presenting material that is easy to listen to and entertaining as well as informative.

Summary: "HU--A Love Song For Soul"

Science tells us that matter and energy are both byproducts of "vibrating strings" (String Theory) at the quantum or subatomic level. However what science has yet to discover is the cause of that vibration. But the ancient ones knew: God, the Divine Impulse, is the primary cause. All life vibrates in accordance with divine love. The HU is the sound of that vibration coursing throughout creation. By singing HU for a few minutes daily, we attune ourselves to God and learn to become more compassionate human beings while gaining in truth, wisdom and freedom. This HU CD helped me to achieve those qualities--and you can too!
