Dark Matter eLiquid

Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.

Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.

Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Description

A revolutionary new design in Juice extractors that will turn other juicers on the market upright! The Hurom Slow juicer takes the single auger design made popular first by Samson, Solo Star and Omega Juicers, and takes the concept one step further. The hurom slow juicer will juice fruits, vegetables, soy and even wheatgrass, slowly and efficiently. More efficiently than other single auger style juicers. Dual Stage Juicing - juice is extracted through the first crushing stage and before the pulp is ejected, it is then squeezed during the second pressing stage; resulting in more juice, and extremely dry pulp. Higher yields - in-house testing found the Hurom Slow Juicer yielded 50% more juice than a centrifuge juicer in 50% of the time. Economical - Get the greatest amount of juice from the least amount of fruits. Peels and skins can be also used in various pastries, jams, soups, etc. Better Juice, Healthier Juice - Enjoy more antioxidants, better flavor and superior freshness of your juice. No frothing or foaming, and none of the separation that occurs with other juicers. Self Cleaning - Simply pour water through to self clean the juicer when changing to another fruit, vegetable or leafy green. Save time! Small Footprint - all of the performance of a masticating single auger juicer, but with less space requirements than most centrifuge-style juicers. Vegetable Juice - The Hurom juicer excels at making juice out of your favorite leafy greens and wheatgrass. Silence - The Hurom juicer minimizes the noise by squeezing slowly rather than grinding at high speed like centrifugal juicers. The 8x harder auger is manufactured out of GE Ultem material. Includes fine and coarse dual stage screens, pulp extraction plugs, self-cleaning screen holder, two 50 oz. juicing cups, tamper, brush, and instruction manual.

Summary: "Thrilled *and* I Called to Verify Quality of Support"

My Hurom Slow Juicer arrived yesterday and I am super-impressed with it.

I was concerned, however, about some recent reviewers who said that they couldn't get Hurom customer support on the phone or via email, and that the product had been sold to a different company, Roland.

So I called the "Office" phone number on the Hurom warranty sheet to see if I got the runaround, an endless loop of phone menu options, or someone rude, etc. My plan, if I couldn't reach anyone, was to then try email -- and if that didn't work in a day or two, I was considering returning the product to Amazon because I would not have been able to rely on support if something broke or wore down over time.

Here's what I found out. The number I called answered with a choice to choose English or (Korean?... not sure). I chose English, and 10 seconds later a customer support person answered. I told her why I was calling -- that I wanted to verify that Roland would honor the Hurom warranty, and that I had read several recent negative reviews about their responsiveness.

She was very nice, very friendly, and she verified that Roland did buy the product, that they are honoring the warranty, and that there had been a short transition period in which some calls and emails had been missed. But, she said, that transition is now over and customer support for the product is back in operation.

Since I could obviously reach Customer Support easily, and since it was friendly and informative, I'm going to keep this juicer.

Did I mention that I LOVE it?

The pulp ejection tube does tend to get clogged with fibrous veggie pulp, but I was feeding long celery stalks into it. I also put in a big chunk of unpeeled ginger. I think I'll take the advice of some earlier reviews and cut that celery into smaller pieces, as well as the unpeeled ginger.

This juicer is a dream compared to one I owned years ago which was a centrifuge-type juicer that was a horrible mess and not very versatile.

Here's the juice I made, first time out: beets, carrots (unpeeled, but quartered into strips), celery, ginger, 1 clove garlic, kale, 1/2 Thai pepper, tomatoes, cilantro, and cucumbers.

I was AMAZED at how good it was! YUM! I'm going to be using this a lot! Next time, I think I'll use less garlic.

We'll see how this unit holds up over time. I may post an update later if there is anything to add. I do expect parts to wear out with extended use. That's ok, so long as I can always get replacement parts easily.

Summary: "Unreliable Juicer - Company Now MIA"

I've had this juicer for about seven months and juice daily as a treatment for cancer. When all the parts are new, it works beautifully. However, in that time I've had to replace the strainer eight times, the bowl twice and the gear twice. All of this appears to be due to the poor construction of the strainer. The plastic parts of the strainer crack and break easily, sometimes causing further damage to the bowl and gear. An all metal strainer could have solved this problem.

Up until now the company has been good at getting replacement parts to me with overnight shipping although that still meant a day without juicing.

However, now the company seems to be missing-in-action. It has now been over three weeks since my latest attempt to get a replacement strainer. Repeated emails go unanswered or bounce back as undeliverable. When I attempt to call the company I get caught up in an automated phone system that fails to work and sends me in circles not even allowing me to leave a message.

So, now I have a useless piece of junk sitting on my kitchen counter with a 10 year warranty but no way to get service.

Summary: "Ver frustrating to use"

I have had this juicer for one month and I juice vegetables every morning for my breakfast. I am completely dissatisfied with this product.
1. Items such as sprouts, parsley, kale and chard get wound around the auger and just keep going around and around without extracting the juice and I end up with an auger full of pulp that never exits out of the basket area.
2. The juice leaks between the unit base and piece that houses the basket and the auger.
3. The juice is full of pulp.
5. The yellow tab that I close tightly to prevent the pulp and juice from going any direction except forward opens during the juicing process on its own and fibers come out the back getting stuck during the juicing process.
6 It simply does not juice drinkable wheat grass. There is so much pulp in the juice I have to strain it and then extract more juice from the strained pulp with the back of a ladle.
This is the first review I have ever written about a product. I am very unhappy with this machine and the company I bought it from will not take it back.

Summary: "Amazing machine!"

With the exception of one instruction being misunderstood, this machine is way more than we expected. What fun! Black raspberry jelly! We've talked about making small batches of fruit wine! We bought this machine on a lark, as a present, and what a reward!
The instructions for the plug that disables the pulp discharge is what my wife misunderstood. With a little help, we now understand and easily opt for pulp or not!
Get one! (The price is good, too.)
